FAQ

How do I get there?

It’s about a 4.5 hour drive to beautiful coastal Penobscot Maine! There is plenty of parking, and the address is below:

178 Johnson Point Road, Penobscot, Maine

We will provide options for carpooling for those who want it!

What Should I bring

Please bring a yoga mat, and a yoga block if you have one. Bring clothes that are comfy to move in for your yoga and pilates classes, and all personal essentials!

Will I get dinner on the first night?

Yes! We will provide you with a snack at 4pm when you arrive, and dinner and welcome orientation at 6:00 pm, all included! We will follow this by a gentle yin class to get you stretched out after the long drive, and ready for bed!

Will I get breakfast before I leave on Monday?

Yes! Check out is 10 am, so we will have time for a light breakfast, and a morning movement class before we check out!

I’m new to yoga and pilates, is this retreat suitable for me?

Yes! Yoga is for every body. In each class we will provide modifications and variations, so each person is challenged while respecting your individual needs and restrictions.

What is the cancelation policy?

In case of cancellation, 4 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of amount paid will be reimbursed. In case of cancellation within less than 4 weeks before the course start date, no refund is possible, however the booking is transferable.

Do you have any recommendations of things to do in the area if I want to extend my stay?

Yes! If you haven’t visited mid-coastal Maine before, you are in for a treat! Acadia National Park is only 45 min north of where we are staying, and definitely worth a visit! It has some excellent hiking and biking, and while Bar Harbour can get very touristy, it is still worth a look if you’ve never been. Blue Hill is also a lovely coastal town, with some cute Inn’s, cafes, and tucked away rocky beaches. I would also recommend Fly Point Inn in Brooklin, it has some rustic accommodations on a beautiful grassy ocean point with a super yummy restaurant on site.

What if the room I want is fully booked?

This is an intimate retreat experience, with only 10-12 spaces available. We will do our best to put you in your first room choice, however it is first come first serve, so if you have your heart set on one particular option, I would grab it while you can!
